Self-Defence

According to a report published by the Liberal Democrats:

  • 1 in 4 crimes committed in London is a violent crime (25%).
  • 350 knife crimes are committed daily in England and Wales (British Crime Survey 2008).
  • The Public Accounts Committee found that the number of 16-17 year-olds carrying a knife has doubled since 1998.
  • A Sky News report (Oct 2008) revealed that murders involving knives in England and Wales between April and June 2008 increased by 28% compared to the previous year.

The Reality of Self-Defence:
Many people say:

“I wouldn’t know what to do; I’m not a fighter. If someone attacked me, I’d give in and pray I survive with as little harm as possible.”

This mindset often stems from a lack of knowledge or poor safety awareness rather than an inability to defend oneself. Research shows that 80% of people who fight back successfully escape a dangerous situation.

What Makes Combat Survival Tactics Different:
Our courses are highly practical and focus on realistic self-defence techniques. Unlike many other programs, we prioritize:

  • General personal safety awareness.
  • Practical tools to handle violent or abusive situations.

Participants leave our courses feeling empowered, confident, and better equipped to protect themselves.
